Summer Visits

 We have been blessed to have not one, but two visits from friends and family within the past two months! This past week Janae's friend Cat from Logan came out to spend a week with us. We took them all over Philly. Sorry I didn't take many photo's of them...

We also had a visit from Janae's sister Sarah and her brother Mike. We gave them the grand tour of Philadelphia and its surrounding areas. Tours included the CF Martin Guitar Company Factory, Independence Hall and surrounding area, the Zoo, the many parks near our house, and the Smith Playhouse (a free indoor outdoor play house.)

We have loved getting so many people to come stay with us. So if you want to come see Philly let us know, and we will give you the tour.

During the factory tour we had to wear headphones so we could hear our guide when he talked into his microphone.

After the Factory Tour we stopped for lunch at the Nazareth Dinner and hassled mike a bit.

That night my band performed for a Ward Party. I co-teach primary with the guitarist and his wife (in the black and white zig zag) plays bass and teaches Lily in primary. Our Piano player is Jewish, so he doesn't teach primary.

Janae joined me for a few old "Pioneer Songs" and some other guitar tunes I know.
